How do I start?
Tap “Start my free review” and choose photo access. Similar moments, screenshots, and videos are presented for your review. Nothing is selected for deletion by default. Favorites, suggested keepers, and originals linked to active saved items are protected.
Why are some photos missing?
With limited photo access, the app can review only the items you selected. Hidden photos are excluded. Some cloud-only originals cannot be compared or previewed until you open them in Photos to download them. A scan does not fetch originals from iCloud.
What does “similar” mean?
Nearby photos are compared visually on your device. A match is a suggestion to inspect, not proof that the images are identical. Your preferred moment may differ from the suggested keeper. Keep what matters to you.
How does video compression work?
Open a video and choose “Preview a smaller copy.” Pick a quality setting, keep the app open during processing, and play the result. Actual original and output file sizes are shown. Save only if you like the result. Both copies remain in Photos; storage is recovered only after you explicitly remove an original and Photos releases its storage. Compression is lossy and may change resolution, HDR, frame rate, or specialized video information.
How do screenshots become plans?
Open a screenshot, tap “Read & save screenshot,” correct its text, and add a recognizable title. Optionally add a date and local notification. Saved items remain searchable without Pro. “Upcoming” shows dated, unfinished items. You can also review an event in Apple Calendar before saving it.
How do I recover removed photos?
Open Apple Photos and find Recently Deleted. Items normally remain recoverable there for 30 days. If you use iCloud Photos, deletion syncs to your other devices. Room to Keep cannot empty Recently Deleted or restore permanently removed originals.
Why didn’t a reminder arrive?
Check that the saved item has a future date and “Remind me on this device” enabled. Allow notifications in iOS Settings. Focus, notification scheduling, or device settings may delay or silence alerts. Completing or removing an item cancels its pending local reminder.
Free features and Pro
Free features include scan and preview, up to 25 removals per day, 10 active saved items, and one saved compressed video copy. Pro unlocks unlimited cleanup, more saved items, and more compressed copies. U.S. prices are $3.99 monthly or $24.99 annually; prices in your country are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Existing digiCLEAN subscriptions are recognized.
Restore or cancel a subscription
Use Settings → Restore purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. To change or cancel, use Settings → Manage subscription or the Subscriptions section of your Apple Account. Saved text remains readable after Pro expires. Apple handles refund requests at reportaproblem.apple.com.
