Room to Keep

Your library stays yours.

Privacy Policy · Effective October 24, 2026

Room to Keep, previously digiCLEAN AI, is provided by DIGIID LLC. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app and its support website.

Photos, video, and screenshot text

The app analyzes only the photo-library items you permit it to access. Visual comparisons, text recognition, and video compression happen on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, extracted text, or saved notes to a developer-run server. A scan does not download originals from iCloud; unavailable items may need to be opened in Photos first.

Information stored in the app

Saved screenshot text, notes, titles, source identifiers, dates, completion status, review progress, settings, and free-feature allowances are stored locally in the app. Saved text can remain after you remove an original from Photos. This app data may be included in your device or iCloud backup according to your Apple settings. Device backup is not a separate Room to Keep synchronization service.

Your choices and permissions

You can limit or revoke photo-library access in iOS Settings. Nothing is selected for deletion automatically. You approve removals through the app and Apple Photos. If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletion can also remove the original from iCloud and your synced devices. Recovery is normally available in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Smaller video copies are saved only when requested. Originals are not overwritten. Local notifications require your permission; reminder notification content does not include the saved screenshot text. Adding an event opens Apple’s Calendar editor, where you review and confirm it. Room to Keep does not request access to read your existing calendars.

Purchases and other connections

Apple handles in-app payments, subscription management, and purchase restoration. The app checks Apple-signed purchase entitlements; we do not receive your credit-card details. Apple may process store, purchase, and diagnostic information according to your Apple settings and its own privacy policy. Opening links, sharing saved text, or contacting support sends the information you choose to the destination you select.

Analytics and advertising

The app contains no advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, or developer-run analytics service. We do not sell personal information. This website has no advertising or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting, may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses for delivery, security, and operational logging under its policies.

Removing or exporting information

Remove saved items within the app or export their text through Settings. Removing a saved item does not remove its original from Photos. Deleting the app removes local app data; existing backups remain subject to your Apple backup settings. Cancel subscriptions separately in your Apple Account settings.

Support and changes

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to answer your request. Avoid sending sensitive photos or documents unless needed to explain a problem. Contact adam@digiid.com for privacy questions. We will publish policy changes here with an updated effective date.
